Day 11 of 84, 252.0 lbs

I'm pleasantly surprised by the weigh-in. 252.0. Not dehydrated, got enough (if not quality) sleep.

Breakfast: Peanuts.
More later.

Day 10 of 84, missing data

Didn't bother weighing in the next morning because the data would have been skewed my lack of sleep and dehydration. I'm definitely going to have to reign this in.

July, 4th holiday. Ate a lot of bad stuff. Time to get back on the horse.

Day 9 of 84, missing data

Breakfast: Peanuts
Lunch Wawa Salad
Dinner: Chick-Fil-A

Went a bit nuts in the evening going into the holiday. Can't even seem to remember if I weighed in. Went to Sportsman's and over-celebrated (beer and shots). Got angry at the bartender as I tend to do after too many shots. Didn't get to sleep until after 4 am. People call this a good time?

Day 8 of 84, missing data

Woke up at 4 am and stayed home from work. Had some breakfast sausages. Will fill in estimated weigh in when I have tomorrow's data.

Day 7 of 84, 250.5 lbs

Managed to lose a half pound despite yesterday's weigh-in being partially due to dehydration. Official weight loss for the week: 5 lbs.

We've arrived at the first "binge" day. Not sure how much of that I want to do as it feels like I'm throwing away weight loss. But the cycling does work.

So far, just 2 cups of coffee.

Then had Jennie-o nachos, Wendy's combo, and lots of fruit. Pretty mild binge. Woke up 4 am with some mild, but stabbing pains in my back.

Day 6 of 84, 251.0 lbs (d)

Dehydrated from all the beer. Didn't feel like eating until well after noon. Had some leftover hamburger and veggies.

Later: Wendy's chicken sandwich (no bread), small chili with some of the beans removed.

Dinner: had some more of the meat loaf from earlier in the week. Have to be careful with this stuff because it apparently has a lot of bread crumbs. Also ate some pulled pork, but not much since the sauce is loaded with sugar.

Had a salad later..

Day 5 of 84, 253.0 lbs

Workin it down!

Peanuts
Wawa salad/Slim Jim

Snack: 1 mini Snickers.

The weekend! Gonna have a few beers tonight!

Chicken fingers with buffalo sauce. Some bacon later.

Day 4 of 84, 254.5 lbs

AM:
Still managed to lose half a pound after last night's snack attack on Indian candies. Slept surprsingly well.

Dream fragment: Touring around the country with Neil Peart!

Breakfast: Peanuts.
Lunch: Used a fork to eat out a tuna salad sandwich. Also got the Wawa salad and Slim Jim (you are what you eat!)

Snack: two mini Milky Ways.

Dinner: Hamburger wrap and another smaller salad.

Feelin' alright.

Chief Justice John Roberts betrays America

SCOTUS finally let the show drop today on Obamacare (bunch of divas waiting until the very last minute). Roberts decided it was a tax after Obama sold has not a tax. Apparently Congress has the power to tax anything and everything. So, while the health insurance mandate itself was quite unconstitutional, apparently Roberts really, really wanted it.  Government has taken that first small step--the way they always do it--to taking control of health care. We're all Greece now.

Day 3 of 84, 255.0 lbs

AM:

Now its starting to come off a bit. Work threw me yet another curve for lunch... all employee meeting with pizza. Good news is that I can take a fork after a few slices of pizza. Not sure I'm going to be able to shift to a 2pm lunch anytime soon.

Late breakfast: few peanuts
Lunch: Three slices pizza: BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, and Taco. (complete with backed lettuce, ugh).

PM:
Received some Indian candies that I had ordered before going low carb. Went a little nuts with it.
Dinner was Hormel Meat Loaf.

Overall, got way too many carbs, but... back on the horse.

Day 2 of 84, 256.0 lbs

AM:
WTF? Up a half pound. The beers on Sunday must have had me dehydrated for Monday weigh in. Guessing this is a more honest assessment. Fine.
Meeting today again on my usual lunchtime, meaning this will be a second consecutive non-standard day. This will make it hard to get back on schedule for my usual 2 PM lunch. There'll be the danger of getting hungry before then, but that'll be tomorrow's problem. Was in a pretty bad mood this morning until I did the early lunch.
Wearing a slightly tight shirt which has me feeling like a whale.

Breakfast: None (skipped peanuts because of early lunch)
Lunch: Wawa turkey blt salad w/ Ranch. Monster Tabasco Slim Jim.

Gonna be a long afternoon....

PM:
...and the drive home was pretty brutal. Stupid cow blocking the passing lane... speeding up to like 90 when I tried to pass. Playing with her hair all the time.

But I persevered. Didn't let the stress throw me off track. Had BBQ Chicken pizza on a low carb tortilla. Quite good. And a salad later.

Day 1 of 84, 255.5 lbs

AM:
Sweet Mother of God, 255.5 lbs! How does this keep happening? Yeah, I know. Today marks the beginning of a new 12 week cycle of Very Low Carb (VLC) dieting. I know from experience that these first few days are the most fragile. It doesn't take much to knock me off the horse. Boss already trying to cause problems by taking us out to lunch, but it'll be Thai food and I've already had a handful of peanuts for "breakfast". I should be ok.

PM:
Probably got more carbs than I wanted from the thai food, but that's ok. It was MUCH less than I'd have gotten in my regular eating habits.Got home and had a couple of cubed steaks with hot salsa (yum!).  May have a salad later.

Brain:
Had a brief snack attack in late afternoon when I would normally be hitting the vending machine. Ate a few more peanuts and then later had some coffee. It finally backed off. Thought I might feel compelled to hit Chick-Fil-A on the way home, but didn't happen.

Late Breakfast: Roasted Peanuts, diet pepsi.
Lunch: Thai chicken coconut soup (skipped mushrooms), grilled chicken with a sweet BBQ sauce. Salad.

Dinner: Cubed steaks with salsa.
